March 3rd, at an event hosted by Galway Local Enterprise Office in the Druid theatre, the first book of cases for Small and Micro businesses was launched. Some of the company owners featured in the book took part in a panel discussion on how their Lean journey has transformed their companies – freeing up time for them to focus on the bigger picture or in one case just to take Sundays off for the first time in 15 years! The stories in the book are both personal and inspirational. The book features stories from around the country and is available through your Local Enterprise Office.
The Book was compiled and edited by Darrin Taylor, Lecturer in Management at WIT School of Business and Principal Lead of the WIT Academy of Lean Enterprise Excellence. Darrin is a founding member of Lean Business Ireland and Steering Committee member.
